A guided tour of Warner Bros. Studios in Burbank, one of the oldest working film studios in the world. It lasts about two to three hours and takes visitors behind the scenes of film and television making. The studio began public tours in 1972, having earlier shown the lot only to guests, and later took the name Warner Bros. Studio Tour after the success of its famous tour in London. Above the lot rises the famous water tower bearing the company's logo. Visitors ride small carts with a guide through the backlot streets, outdoor sets and sound stages, then explore exhibits of original costumes and props, including famous Batman cars, and the tour may pass sets where filming is under way. Tickets start from about $70, per visitor guides, and booking ahead is essential as places are limited. Stops change with filming schedules, so every tour is a little different.
