A water park in the heart of Kuta, opened in 1993 and often ranked among the best water parks in Asia and the world. It is spacious and planted with dense tropical gardens and huge trees, so it feels like a green forest threaded with slides and pools, with more shade than most water parks. It has many slides of different levels, including tall, fast ones for thrill-seekers, a long lazy river where visitors float on rings among the trees, and a large area for little children with short slides and shallow pools. There are restaurants, cafes, lockers and towels for hire. A day ticket for foreign adults starts from about four hundred and ninety-five thousand rupiah and varies by date and offer; booking on the official site is usually cheaper. It opens daily from about nine in the morning to six in the evening. Bali's tourist levy, one hundred and fifty thousand rupiah per foreign visitor, is separate. Allow a full day or most of one, and arrive at opening before the slide queues build. Bring suitable swimwear; modest swimwear is allowed.
