Broad waterfalls on the Guichun River that straddle the border between China and Vietnam, amid the karst hills of Daxin County in south-western Guangxi; the Vietnamese call them Ban Gioc, and they are the fourth-largest waterfall on an international border after Iguazu, Victoria and Niagara. The water drops about 30 metres in three sections divided by rocks and trees, its roar audible from afar, and the two falls can merge into one when summer rains swell the river; visitors ride bamboo rafts on the river near the falling water, and viewing platforms look over the falls, fields and surrounding hills. The package ticket costs CNY 115, of which 80 is entry and 35 the compulsory bus, and a bamboo raft costs 48, per visitor guides. The falls lie about three and a half hours' drive from Nanning, so make it a full-day trip or an overnight stay.

The flow is strongest in the rainy summer from June to September, autumn brings clearer weather and fewer crowds, and the water runs lower in winter.
