A 666-metre road bridge over the Han River in the shape of a golden dragon, its steel body rising and falling in arches from bank to bank, with its head facing the sea. It opened on 29 March 2013 and is described as the largest dragon-shaped steel bridge in the world. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights and on major holidays, at 21:00, the dragon breathes fire and then sprays water from its mouth for several minutes. The best places to watch are the riverbank at the eastern end, near the head, or the Bach Dang Street promenade on the opposite bank; anyone standing close to the head should expect to get wet. At night the bridge is lit in shifting colours, and a walk along the Han River between the Dragon Bridge and the Han River Bridge is one of the city's best evening outings.
