An outdoor theme park at the peak of Genting Highlands, some eighteen hundred metres up in cool mountain air, opened in 2022 after years of delay. Its worlds draw on well-known films from a major American studio, such as Ice Age, Rio, Robots and Night at the Museum, so children meet favourite characters at every turn. The park is divided into nine worlds, among them Studio Plaza, Eagle Mountain, Central Park, Rio, Andromeda Base, Ice Age and Robots' Rivet Town. It has gentle rides for little ones and fast ones for thrill-seekers, the best known a roller coaster twisting through the clouds above the mountain. The park publishes no fixed day price for foreign visitors: prices on the official booking site change by date, and the resort lists the standard one-day ticket at about one hundred and ninety-eight ringgit before its frequent online offers, with children under ninety centimetres free. It opens daily from ten to six and closes on Tuesdays except on public and school holidays. Book on the official site in advance for the best price. The weather at the peak is changeable, with plenty of fog and rain, and some open-air rides pause during lightning, so bring a jacket and umbrella and start in the morning.
