A private art museum on the West Bund of the Huangpu in Xuhui, founded by the collectors Liu Yiqian and Wang Wei and opened on 28 March 2014; it was China's largest private museum when it opened, and is the second branch of the Long Museum after the one in Pudong. Designed by Liu Yichun of Atelier Deshaus, it has tall concrete halls whose vaulted ceilings hang like umbrellas over the spaces, and it shows the founders' collection of ancient and modern Chinese art alongside major exhibitions of contemporary art from around the world. Tickets vary with the exhibitions: CNY 180 on weekdays and 220 at weekends from July to October 2026, sold on site only. It is open Tuesday to Thursday from 10 am to 6 pm and Friday to Sunday to 9 pm, closed on Mondays, per visitor guides.
