Not on any regular basis. The building lost its original function in 2011 and has not settled into a permanent use, opening only for events or temporary exhibitions. The facade is what most visitors see, and it is worth stopping for from outside.
No. Catalonia banned it in 2012 and none has taken place since. Anyone after historical context for the practice in Spain will find museums in Madrid and Bilbao presenting it as a cultural phenomenon, but in Catalonia the activity has ended.

A vast early twentieth-century building on the Gran Via, formerly the last working bullring in Catalonia. Its facade mixes neo-Mudéjar with Catalan modernisme, in brick and glazed tile with egg-shaped domes on its towers. What makes it interesting today is what happened to it. Catalonia banned bullfighting in 2012, so the last bullfight here took place in September 2011 and the building lost its original function. It has stood since without an agreed permanent use, and proposals to convert it come round repeatedly. That makes it a witness to a social change: a building raised for one purpose, which society then decided was no longer acceptable, leaving the structure without a function. In practice the visit is exterior. The building does not operate as a regular visitor attraction and may open only for events or temporary exhibitions. Treat it as a short architectural pause on a walk through the Eixample rather than a destination you plan around.
