Coqueirinho, on the coast of Conde 35 km south of João Pessoa, is often counted among the ten most beautiful beaches in Brazil: calm, warm water, natural pools, a long strip of sand lined with coconut palms and dark rock formations of volcanic origin. The left end has gentle waves, while the right end has stronger surf for surfers, kitesurfers and windsurfers. There are beach shops, kiosks, restaurants, showers, toilets and chair and umbrella rental, plus buggy and quad tours and eco-trails on foot or by bike. It is quiet on weekdays and busy at weekends.
