Praia do Forno is a short beach of about 500 metres in Arraial do Cabo, ringed by green hills and reached only on foot or by boat, both from Praia dos Anjos in the centre of town. The walking trail is easy to moderate, about 500 metres long, going round Morro da Fortaleza from the left-hand end of Praia dos Anjos, where signs point the way. It takes about a quarter of an hour, up to half an hour if you stop for photos, as the views over the bay are lovely. The water taxi leaves from the Praia dos Anjos pier and takes about ten minutes. There is no charge for the beach; carry water, and if you walk, head back before sunset.

Walk about 15 minutes from the left end of Praia dos Anjos, or take a water taxi from its pier in about ten minutes.
