An elegant ceremonial bridge in Putrajaya, crossing the lake at the southern end of the main boulevard and leading to the Putrajaya International Convention Centre on the hill opposite. It is about two hundred and forty metres long, and its deck rises about thirty-seven metres above the water at the centre. It was designed as a grand formal entrance, with stone arches beneath its deck, ornate lamp posts along both sides and small towers at each end, and it is loveliest at night when its lamps and arches are lit. Visitors come to photograph it, especially at sunset, and it offers views over the lake, the boulevard and distant government buildings. Crossing on foot or by car is free. It lies at the far south of the boulevard, so make it the last stop after the Palace of Justice and Putra Square, or see it from a boat on a lake trip.
