A large aquarium at the foot of the Oriental Pearl Tower in Lujiazui, Pudong, whose underwater tunnel, more than 150 m long, is one of the longest of its kind in the world, taking visitors past a coastal reef, a kelp cave, a shark cove and a coral reef. The displays are arranged in zones for China, South America, Africa and other parts of the world, with sharks, rays, sea turtles, penguins, Chinese alligators, giant salamanders and Chinese sturgeon. Tickets are CNY 160 for adults and CNY 110 for children between 1 m and 1.4 m tall, and it is open from 9 am to 6 pm, later on holidays, per visitor guides.
