Bangkok's best-known luxury mall, opened in 2005 in the heart of Siam, drawing Arab and Asian visitors for the big global brands, from fashion, watches and jewellery to luxury car showrooms displaying Lamborghinis and Ferraris inside the building. The lower floors hold a large food hall and an upmarket food market with cuisines from around the world, including known halal counters, and the basement houses the SEA LIFE Ocean World aquarium. Upstairs are a big cinema with luxury screens and KidZania, a children's city where kids try out jobs in a miniature town, making it a full day for families on hot or rainy days. Entry is free and it opens daily from ten in the morning until ten at night. Bangkok's big malls usually have prayer rooms and halal counters in their food courts, so ask at the information desk. Prices are higher than at Pratunam or Terminal 21; it is for brands, not bargains. It connects directly to Siam station, where the two BTS lines meet, and skywalks link it to Siam Center, Siam Discovery and neighbouring Wat Pathum Wanaram.
