A private museum on Al Saidiya Street in Old Muscat with a wide collection of Omani heritage, most of it from its owner's private collection, displayed in white Omani-style houses around a garden. Its highlights include a large collection of old weapons, led by Omani khanjar daggers in engraved silver sheaths, along with rifles and swords, plus traditional household objects, colourful Omani costumes for men and women from across the country, and silver jewellery. In the garden is a scale model of a traditional Omani village with its forts, towers, falaj channels and palms, and the complex includes further houses for art exhibitions, a shop and a café. Tickets are about 2 OMR for adults and 1 OMR for children, per visitor guides, and the museum closes on Fridays. It fits into one walk around Old Muscat with Al Alam Palace and the National Museum nearby.
