A large seaside park around the Museum of Islamic Art at the southern end of the Doha Corniche, stretching out on a spit of land into the bay, and one of the city's favourite family spots. Its waterfront path gives the best view of the Dafna towers across the bay, especially at sunset and when the towers light up, and traditional wooden boats rest on the calm water of its little harbour. The park has wide lawns and palm trees, paths for walking and jogging, playgrounds and cafés, and in the winter months it hosts weekend markets and events. Entry is free and it is open all day. It pairs naturally with the museum itself, and Souq Waqif is a few minutes' walk away.
