The Correale is "Italy's most beautiful provincial museum" by its old and earned title: the villa of the Counts Correale, willed by the last brothers (1902) with four centuries of Neapolitan collecting taste โ its four floors the south's elegant treasury: Neapolitan furniture and mirrors, the largest holdings of royal Capodimonte porcelain, clocks and Murano glass, and the Posillipo school's view paintings that portrayed the bay before cameras โ with the Sorrentine intarsia room crowning the local craft.
