The Alley of Flowers is Andalusia's smallest celebrity: a white passage two arm-spans wide with blue geranium pots hanging its walls, ending in a palm-sized square — then turn: the Great Mosque's tower hangs framed in the alley between the pots — the first Cordoban photograph, travelled round the earth. It is the Cordoban patio art distilled for the public: white, blue and trailing bloom — May igniting it as the patio festival's open houses compete around it. Its five minutes stand steps from the Mezquita — the craft is timing: empty-shot dawn before eight, or its whisper-lit night.
