A tower in traditional style on top of Wu Hill, south-east of West Lake, with seven levels including those below ground and a height of 41.6 m, blending the hall styles of the Yuan and Ming periods with tiered roofs and gold and red decoration. Its balconies give some of the widest views over West Lake on one side and over the city and the Qiantang River on the other, and visitors climb to it from the old Hefang Street or the Imperial Street along the hill paths. Tickets cost CNY 30, and it is open from 8 am to 8 pm, booked through the «West Lake tourism» WeChat account, per visitor guides.
