Parque Bisão, officially the Architect Otacílio Teixeira Neto Park, is a public park in Fortaleza's Mucuripe district, where Rua Tereza Hinko meets the seafront Avenida Beira-Mar at the mouth of the Riacho Maceió stream. It opened on 1 August 2014 and covers 22,000 square metres according to the city. The land was recovered through an urban consortium operation, a public-private redevelopment scheme, which redesigned the stream bed and folded it into the park, raising the value of nearby property amid the high-rise boom along Beira-Mar. The park has hosted public events, among them a pet-friendly square opened there in May 2023. It makes a short shady stop near the sea during a walk along Avenida Beira-Mar and Mucuripe beach, or a place to watch the stream meet the ocean. Entry is free.
