A theme park on Shenzhen Bay that brings all of China to one place, in two parts: Splendid China, with miniatures of the country's famous landmarks, and the China Folk Culture Village, showing the life, architecture and customs of China's fifty-six ethnic groups. In the miniature park visitors walk along a scaled-down Great Wall and see replicas of the Forbidden City, palaces, bridges and water towns; it's one of the world's largest miniature parks by number of scenes. The folk village holds traditional houses of different ethnic groups, with dance, song and costume performances through the day, a big evening show and stalls of local crafts and food. Tickets are about CNY 220 by day and 65 in the evening, per visitor guides. Window of the World is next door, and seeing both in one day is a squeeze, so pick one or allow two days.
