It is not a visit. It is an ordinary green space with no monument, and you will find nothing there to see. But it is practically useful if you are with children or need shade and a bench on a hot summer day, and that is the right use for it.
Queen Jelena Madijevka Park near the old town is Zadar's best-known and larger public garden, and the waterfront promenade itself gives air and partial shade in the evening. For genuinely open space people go out to the Puntamika peninsula and its beaches.

A small public park near Zadar's old town, named after the Croatian poet Vladimir Nazor. By a visitor's measure it is an ordinary green space: trees, paths, benches and a children's playground. There is no monument and no draw, and its value is purely practical โ shade and somewhere to sit in a stone city where the summer sun is hard. That makes it useful for families in particular. Walking Zadar's centre means walking on stone with almost no shade, and children run out of patience before adults do, so a playground and a patch of grass minutes from the old town solves a whole day's problem. Do not plan it as a visit. Know that it is here, and use it when you need it.
