The Edifício Martinelli was Brazil's first skyscraper, built by the Italian businessman Giuseppe Martinelli between 1924 and 1929 in central São Paulo, 105 metres and 28 floors tall, then the tallest building in Latin America. Free visits to its roof terrace resumed on 7 July 2026, on Tuesdays only, in hourly slots between 12:30 and 17:30, each lasting about 45 minutes. The free tickets are booked online on Thursday at noon for the following Tuesday.
