No, it is not a destination in itself. But it is an excellent connector if you are walking between Killesberg, Rosenstein Park and the zoo, letting you cover the distance through greenery rather than along roads.
A chain of connected parks in Stuttgart forming a U on the map, running from the palace gardens in the centre through several parks up to Killesberg. You can walk it for hours without crossing a main road.
Killesberg Park and its tower to the north, and Rosenstein Park and the Wilhelma zoo to the south, which is among the best family attractions in Stuttgart. This park lies between them and serves as a resting point on the route.

The Leibfriedscher Garten is a public park in northern Stuttgart, one link in a long chain of gardens known as the Green U that runs from the city centre out to its edges. It was laid out in the 1990s on land that had been nurseries and market gardens. The park is free and always open, with wide lawns, trees, walking paths and playgrounds. What distinguishes it is that it connects Rosenstein Park with Killesberg Park, so you can walk between the two through it without going out onto the streets. It is a park for the city's residents more than a sight for visitors.
