Schindler's Factory is the museum of occupied Krakow: in the actual enamelware works where Oskar Schindler shielded 1,200 Jewish workers from annihilation — the story Spielberg's film immortalised — stands the Krakow 1939-1945 exhibition, counted among Europe's most powerfully executed historical museums. It is not Schindler's museum alone but the whole city under Nazism: immersive scenes you walk — repaved streets, a tram car, a café, a Gestapo cellar, the ghetto's walls — documented through residents' diaries, Polish and Jewish, with Schindler's real office and its list of survivors' names as the silent close.
