Łazienki is a royal park of about seventy-six hectares, with a palace on the water, an amphitheatre, peacocks roaming free and Chopin concerts in summer, and it needs at least half a day. Ujazdów is a small neighbourhood garden of nine hectares and a half-hour stop. They sit on the same avenue, a short walk apart.
From Castle Square or the Royal Route south along Aleje Ujazdowskie, past the embassy quarter and Ujazdów Park, then Ujazdów Castle, ending at the Royal Łazienki Park. About three kilometres along a tree-lined avenue, and among the finest walks in Warsaw.

A small, elegant park on Aleje Ujazdowskie south of central Warsaw, opened in 1896 as a public garden for the city. It was laid out in the English manner: a small lake with a bridge, winding paths, mature trees and open lawns. Its area is only about nine hectares, and that is part of its character — this is a neighbourhood garden rather than a large park. Its position is its practical value: it sits on the avenue linking the city centre to the Royal Łazienki Park, close to Ujazdów Castle and the embassy quarter. Walking south from central Warsaw takes you through it naturally on the way to Łazienki. It has playgrounds, benches and dense summer shade, and is used by local residents more than by visitors. It is free and open with no gates. Do not make a trip of it: make it the pause in the middle of a longer walk south.
